Policies, Terms and Conditions


As a customer of DFG, you agree to be bound by the following policies, terms and conditions:

 

Payment: A 50% down payment is required to begin printing, unless special arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa). Payment in full is required to release the job. A $35 NSF fund fee will apply to any returned checks.

 

Turnaround Times: Standard turnaround for screen printing is 5-7 business days (after artwork approval and receipt of required 50% deposit). Print Product standard production ranges from 3-7 days. Promotional products turnaround times vary from 3-10 days. Rush production is available for most products and services. Additional fees apply.

 

Rush Orders: Rush orders may be subject to a 35% upcharge. Contact us for current rush production availability.

 

Out of Stock Items: On rare occasions, our vendors may run out of particular style or color in a certain brand. If this occurs we have a variety of product substitutes available from alternate vendors. Pricing may vary with vendor. If you choose to wait for the item to come back in stock, day one of production begins the day the blank items are received.

 

Estimates, Proposals, Quotes: Estimates, quotes, proposals, etc. expire within 15 days and are subject to change upon review of submitted artwork.

 

Screen Setup Fees: Screen setup fees are for the rental and preparation of the screen, for a particular print job. Payment of screen setup fees does NOT constitute the purchase of a screen. Artwork charges will apply if artwork is not deemed “camera ready”. See below regarding Artwork Requirements

 

Printing Methods and Materials: Unless otherwise specified, DFG will choose the imprint method and imprint size we feel is best suited for the job.

 

Customer Supplied Materials: Customer-supplied materials (i.e. garments, caps, bags, promotional products, or specialty paper stocks) are subject to a 2% misprint allowance. Any misprints will be credited as a print owed and not as an item owed.

 

Artwork Requirements: Your CAMERA READY artwork must meet the following requirements:

 

Preferred File Formats: We prefer artwork be submitted in one of the following vector file formats.

 

• Adobe Illustrator CS5 or earlier (*.ai)
• Encapsulated Post Script (*.eps)
• Portable Document Format (*.pdf)

 

Other File Formats: The following files must be submitted at 300 dpi or more at final print size (images saved from the Internet will not work).

 

• Lossy compression image (*.jpg)
• Adobe Photoshop (*.psd) – please don’t flatten file, include all fonts
• Tagged Image Format (*.tif)
• Graphics Interchange Format (*.gif)
• Portable Network Graphics (*.png)

 

Unacceptable File Formats: Please do not submit Microsoft Word, Publisher or PowerPoint files as “camera-ready” artwork.

 

Artwork and Design Services: Files that do not meet the above listed criteria will be subject to our standard hourly artwork charge of $40/hr, billed in 15 minute increments.

 

Artwork Proofs: Artwork proofs are used to ensure the accuracy of a print job and the order details. DFG requires receipt of a signed, faxed or emailed copy of each job’s proof in order to begin the first day of production. All sales are final since artwork approval is necessary before a job can enter production. You [the purchaser] certify that you own the rights to or have a license to use previously copyrighted or trademarked image(s) being used in the design of your order.

 

Color Accuracy: Due to variances in computer monitors and printers, colors in an artwork proof or mockup are not true to the finished product. If you desire a specific color match, please specify the color by providing either a physical sample or listing a corresponding Pantone Ink color (PMS color) on your purchase order. Additional color matching fees

 

Mistakes and Misprints: In the event that DFG is responsible for a mistake in order production or fulfillment, the misprinted items will be reprinted at no additional cost. We do not offer refunds.

 

Copyrights and Ownership: In accordance with copyright laws, a design is the property of the designer; said design cannot be reproduced in any way, without the written consent of the owner. All drawings, artwork files, color separations, films, screens, proofs & other visual presentation materials supplied by DFG shall remain the property of DFG and may be shown in printed or online portfolios for the length of the lifetime of the artist. Final artwork & concepts may not be given to other artists to alter, reproduce or post online in any way without the express written permission of DFG.

 

Shipping: We ship all orders via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground unless otherwise specified. If you prefer a specific carrier, please specify the carrier name upon order placement. Shipping is not included in estimates unless specified. Shipping time is NOT included in turnaround time.

 

Packaging: Unless other arrangements have been made, all jobs will be shipped in bulk packaging. Individual bagging, tagging, sorting, labeling, and folding are available upon request. Additional fees apply.

 

Order Receipt: We encourage you to check the quantity and quality of your order immediately. DFG will not be held responsible for problems with your order unless we are notified of the issue within 48 hours of delivery. All sales are final since artwork approval is necessary before a job can enter production.

 

Order Cancellations: If you need to cancel your order, refund amounts are determined based on the status of the order’s production. Refunds may be subject to applicable return shipping and/or restocking fees.

 

Sales Tax: FL Sales & Use tax of 6.5% applies to all finished products within the state of Florida unless a current and valid resale certificate or tax

 

Ethical Standards: DFG reserves the right to refuse service. All artwork is subject to review and must be free of obscene, vulgar, violent, or sexually suggestive content.

 

Indemnification: You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless DFG from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to your use of DFG’s services. You also certify that you own the rights to or have a license to use the image(s) being imprinted as part of your order.

 

Privacy: DFG is committed to protecting your privacy. We will not sell or disclose any information that identifies you to a third party without your prior approval. We may use the information we collect to periodically notify you about new services or special offers we think you’ll find valuable. DFG does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
